She went to… last summer. 能听懂、会读、会说和会写本单元词汇和句型。 能简单描述自己或其他人的假期经历。 能听懂对话并能模仿对话表演。 能听懂并会说单词 dolphin、monkey、koala、kangaroo 和句子 I saw kangaroos in Australia. 能听懂、会读、会说和会写本单元词汇和句型。 二、教学重点 掌握并理解本单元的单词、短语和句型。 能用英语描述自己或他人的假期经历。 三、教学难点 能听懂对话并能模仿对话表演。 能用英语描述自己或他人的假期经历。 四、教学准备 多媒体课件; 学生用书和练习册; 听力材料和录音机。 五、教学过程 1. Class opening Greetings: Good morning/afternoon, class! Teacher asks students if they’re ready for today’s class Roll call: Teacher takes roll call of students absent or present in class Warm up: Teacher leads students to sing the song “Let’s go to the beach” from the CD. 2. Presentation Teacher shows pictures of Sanya and ask the students: “What do you see in the pictures?” Teacher introduces new words such as vacation, mountain, beach, dolphin, monkey, koala, and kangaroo. Teacher reads out the words and encourages students to repeat the words as a class. Teacher presents the sentence pattern: “I went to… for my vacation. She went to… last summer.” 3. Practice Self-Introduction: Students take turns to introduce themselves using the sentence pattern learned, for example: “I went to Hong Kong for my vacation.” Pair Work: Teachers assigns students to work in pairs to ask and answer questions about each other’s holiday experiences. Listening comprehension: Teacher plays the audio and students listen to the conversation between Lucy and Lily. Then the teacher asks some comprehension questions such as: Where did Lucy go on her holiday? What did Lucy see in Sanya? Did Lucy go to the mountains in Sanya? Role Play: Students are divided into groups of 2 and perform a short conversation about their holiday experiences. Writing: Students complete the worksheet in the book by filling in the blanks with the correct words and sentence structure from today’s lesson. 4. Extension Teacher shows pictures of Australia and asks students: “What do you
