Patriotic education in universities must adapt to the needs of the network era and actively explore education models and methods under the network background. This article uses questionnaire surveys and case analysis to study the current situation of patriotic education in universities under the network background, and puts forward some thoughts and suggestions: In the network era, educators should grasp the characteristics and advantages of the Internet, and better use network tools and resources to carry out patriotic education; Strengthen network security education, improve students network literacy and information literacy; Strengthen the relevance and effectiveness of educational content, and improve the quality of education and social benefits.
