PPT或教学图片。2. 教学控制表。教学过程:Step 1: Lead-in1. Greet the students and ask some simple questions about their classmates. E.g. Do you have a good friend in your class? How does he/she look like? Does he/she have long or short hair? Is he/she tall or short?2. Introduce the topic of todays lesson: describing peoples appearance.Step 2: Presentation1. Show some pictures of different people and ask the students to describe their appearance. E.g. What does he/she look like? Does he/she have long or short hair? Encourage the students to use descriptive words and complete sentences.2. Teach the new vocabulary: tall, short, thin, heavy, long hair, short hair.3. Show more pictures of different people and ask the students to describe their appearance using the new vocabulary.Step 3: Practice1. Divide the students into pairs and give them a worksheet with pictures of different people.2. Ask the students to take turns describing the people in the pictures to their partner, using the new vocabulary. E.g. He has long hair and he is tall. Encourage the students to ask follow-up questions, such as Is he thin or heavy?3. Walk around the classroom to observe and provide assistance if needed.Step 4: Group activity1. Divide the class into small groups and give each group a set of picture cards with different people on them.2. Ask the students to take turns picking a card and describing the person on the card to their group members, using the new vocabulary. The other group members can ask questions to gather more information.3. Encourage the students to use complete sentences and ask for clarification if they dont understand something.4. After each student has described a person, ask the groups to choose one person from their cards
