Chinastoppedtheillegaltradingandtransportationofwildanimalsshortlyaftertheoutbreak.ThemovebecameapermanentbanonFeb.24,2020，whenthecountrymadeadecisiononthoroughlyprohibiting(禁止)theillegaltradingofwildlifeandtheconsumptionofwildanimals.

LiBo,withtheHainanInternationalCenterforWildlifeProtection，saidwildanimalconsumptioncouldleadtothefasterextinctionofparticularspecies,damagetheecologicalbalanceandharmpeopleshealth.

“Theepidemic(流行病)couldbecomeaturningpointtoeliminatethebadhabit，”
