CollegeEnglishisacompulsorysubjectformoststudentsinChina.However,traditionalteachingmethodsthatprioritizelecturesandteacher-centeredinstructionhavenotalwaysledtosuccessfullearningoutcomes.Toimprovestudents’learningperformanceandengagement,manyuniversitieshaveintroducedinteractiveteachingmethods,whichinvolvemorestudentparticipationandinquiry-basedlearning.ThepresentstudyaimstoexploretheeffectivenessofinteractiveteachingincollegeEnglishmainclassrooms.

ResearchQuestions:

1.WhatinteractiveteachingmethodsareusedincollegeEnglishmainclassrooms?

2.Howdotheinteractiveteachingmethodsimpactthelearningoutcomesofstudents?

3.WhatarethestudentsperceptionsofinteractiveteachingincollegeEnglish?

Methods:

Thisstudywillemployamixed-methodsapproach,combiningquantitativeandqualitativedatafromsurveys,classroomobservations,andinterviews.Atotalof100collegeEnglishstudentsfromauniversityinChinawillparticipateintheresearch.Thestudywilllastforonesemester,duringwhichbothtraditionalteachingandinteractiveteachingmethodswillbeimplementedinthemainclassroom.

Thequantitativedatawillbecollectedthroughapre-test/post-testdesigntodeterminetheimpactofinteractiveteachingonstudentslearningoutcomes.Thequalitativedatawillincludeobservationsofclassroomactivitiesandinterviewswithteachersandstudentstogainadeeperunderstandingoftheirperceptionsofinteractiveteaching.

ExpectedResults:

ThestudywillcontributetoabetterunderstandingoftheeffectivenessofinteractiveteachingincollegeEnglishmainclassrooms.Itisexpectedthattheimplementationofinteractiveteachingmethodswillleadtoimprovedlearningoutcomesandhigherlevelsofengagementandmotivationamongstudents.Itisalsoexpected
