*Repeattheprocedurefortheotherobjects.

2.Tracethewords.

*Havethechildrentracethewords:two,five,eggsandbirds.

*Havethechildrencopythewordsbythemselves.

Matchthenumbers.(Page32)

*Drawthechildren’sattentiontothepiecesofbrokenpaperstripes.Tellthemthewordsonthesestripsarethenameofnumbersbuttheywerebroken.Tellthechildrenthatyouwantthemtorestorethewords.

*Pointtothefirstone.Askthechildrenwhichnumberdotheythinkitis.Elicitthecorrectanswerfromthechildrentofindthematchingpartforthewordsix.

*Nowhavethechildrendrawalinebetweenthetwopartsofthewordsevenandmatchthemtogetherandsayitaloud.

*Repeattheprocedurefortheotherwords.
