III.重点语法

本单元的要点是以不同的引导词（如what，why，whether）引导的名词性从句或以形式主语出现的名词性从句（如Itwasnotimmediatelyobviousthat…）在句中作主语的用法。主语从句通常由从属连词that，whether，if和连接代词what，who，which，whatever，whoever，以及连接副词how，when，where，why等词引导。有时为了避免头重脚轻，常用形式主语it代替主语从句作形式主语放在句首，而把主语从句置于句末，it后面的谓语动词一般用单数形式。
