Step1.Greetings.

Step2.ListentoasongYesterdayoncemore.Writedownthepasttenseoftheverbs.Talkaboutthenameofthesong.Whenwetalkaboutthingshappenedinthepast,suchasyesterday,lastweek,twodaysago,in2019 …weusethesimplepasttense.

Step3.Howtogetpasttenseofverbs?1.regularverbs(fourrules)

Group1:

Group2(有些动词的过去式与动词的原形同形。)let（让）put（放）cut（切）read（读）

hit（敲打）hurt（受伤）cost（花钱）

记忆方法：让(let)他们放(put)下切(cut)刀来读(read)书，以免敲打(hit)受伤(hurt)花钱(cost)。

Group3(有些动词将动原形中的元音字母i改为a，就可变为过去式。)swim→ sing→ring→ begin→ sit→give→drink→

记忆方法:游泳(swim)唱歌(sing)后，铃响（ring)开始(begin)坐(sit)下来，给(give)点喝(drink)的吧,i就变成a。

Group4有些动词的过去式以-a(o)ught结尾。

他们今天早上在动物园吗?上个星期天天气怎么样？句型总结:

肯定句式“主语+was/were+其它”

否定句式“主语+wasnt/werent+其它”eg:Hisbrotherwasnt12yearsoldlastyear.

一般疑问句式“Was/Were+主语+其它”

eg:-Washisbrother12yearsoldlastyear?
