theproperin-textcitationfortheoutputstyleaswellasaproperlyformattedentryinyourreference

list/bibliographyinwhateverorderthestylecallsfor(alphabetical,inorderofcitation,etc).Sometimesyou

mayneedtomakesmall(orlarge!)changestoanexistingstyleordisyafieldinagivenstylethatisn’t

typicallyrequiredinthatstyle(forexample,ludingyour“researchnotes”inthebibliographytoproducean

annotatedbibliographyforninstructororperhapsforagrant).EndNoteallowsalloftheseadvanced

capabilities.
