?InthecountriesneighbouringUkrainethatarehostingrefugees,WHOandpartnersareprovidingtechnicalsupportfortheset-upofBlueDothubs,whichofferrefugeefamiliesonthemoveasafespaceandvitalservices,children’splayareas,protection,andcounselling.

?EmergencycommoditiescontinuetobedeliveredtotheWHOwarehouseinLviv,Ukraine,includingtwoambulancevehiclesandeightgeneratorsforhospitals,alongwiththenecessaryaccessoriesandspareparts.

?Somesmall-scalechemicalincidentshavebeenreportedasadirectresultofthearmedconflict.Sofartheseincidentshavebeenrelativelysmallandcontained.Todate,WHOhasnotreceivednotificationofanyseriouspublichealthimpact.AnammonialeakatanindustrialsiteclosetoSumywasreportedon21March,andthereleaseofnitricacidwasreportedon5AprilinRubizhneintheLuhanskoblast.Severalfiresorexplosionsatoilorfueldepotshavealsobeenreportedinareasclosetodensepopulationcentres,includingareasclosetoDnipro,KyivandLviv.
