Abstract:ThegovernmentofIndiaaimsat“SwachhBharatMission”andforthatweneedsmartcitywithsmartstreetsenabledwithsmartgarbagemonitoringsystem.Weseegarbagebinsaroundusplacedatpublicplacesoverflowingwithduetoincreaseinwasteandresultsintounhygienicconditionsforpeopleandleadstodeadlydiseases.Thustoimprovethissituation,weproposedthisproject.Inourproposedsystem,therearemultiplesmartgarbagetrashbinsonamicrocontrollerboardplatform(ArduinoBoard)locatedthroughoutanycityorthecampusorhospital.TheArduinoBoardisinterfacedwithGSMmodemandultrasonicsensor.Oncethelevelofthresholdisbeingcrossed,thenultrasonicsensorswilltriggertheGSMmodulewhichinturncontinuouslyalerttheauthorisedpersonbysendingSMSreminderafteruntilthedustbiniscleaned.Besidethis,wewillalsocreatethecentralsystemthatwillkeepshowingusthecurrentstatusofgarbageonmobilewebbrowserwithhtmlpagebywi-fi.Withthehelpofthis,wewillcreateshortestpathforgarbagecollectionvehiclesusingDijkstraAlgorithm.Thisisrealtimewastemanagementbyusingsmarttrashbinsthatcanbeaccessedanytimeanywherebytheconcernedperson.
