Abstract

Familygaspipelineshavebeenpopularizedunderthepromotionofthenational“West-to-EastGas

Transmission”strategy,buttheoldgenerationhaslimitedacceptanceofnewthingsandmaynot

beabletooperatetheseequipmentaccurately.Especiallyfortheelderlywhosechildrengoout,

theyaremorelikelytousegasalone.BasedonESP32,wedesignedaremotealarmsystemforgas

detectioninthehouse,whichisusedtomonitorthegasstateandtakeremedialandalarmmeas-

uresaftergasleakage.ThesystemusesMQTTprotocoltorealizelong-distancecommunication

andtransmissionofgasoperationconditions,andtimelyremindsuserswhentheyareoutin

danger.ThehardwareiscontrolledbyESP32chip.Itcannotonlyreadgasstatusbyreadingsen-

sors,butalsocontrolotherhardwaretoeliminatehiddentroubleswhenproblemsarefound.It

canalsoconnecttheInternetthroughWiFitoprovideconditionsforremotecommunication.
