Clause旦containsgeneralrequirementsforweldingsteelstudstosteel(see2.2.7and1.2.2forapprovedsteels).Inaddi-

tion,itstipulatesspecificrequirementsforthefollowing:

(I)Workmanship,preproductiontesting,operatorqualification,andapplicationqualificationtesting,whenrequired,

生bls阳dsshallbeofsuitabledesignforarcweldingtosteelmemberτwiththeuseofautomaticallytimeds阳d

weldingequipment.Thetypeandsizeofthestudshallbeasspecifiedbythedrawings,sp饵，日cations,orspecial

provisions.Forheaded-typestuds,seeFigure,2.1.
