contentcustomization.Inmanywaysthisrepresentsa
potentiallybetterformofjournalismbecauseitcanreengage
anincreasinglydistrustingandalienatedaudience.Atthe
sametime,itpresentsmanythreatstothemostcherished
valuesandstandardsofjournalism.Authenticityofcontent,
sourceverification,accuracy,andtruthareallsuspectina
mediumwhereanyonewithacomputerandamodemcan
becomeaglobalpublisher.
