中美院校石油工程专业力学课程设置情况探讨

摘要随着油气钻采朝深水、深地、非常规、新能源方向迈进，石油工程专业的力学课程设置需要朝国际化、创新型的方向发展。本文作者通过实地调研、毕业生访谈、国际交流、网络搜集的方式，分析对比了中美两国拥有石油工程专业院校的力学课程的种类和学分设置情况。调查发现两国院校均重视本科生力学的课程教学，强调力学在石油工程专业培养中的基础学科属性;而研究生课程的种类和学分存在较大差异。中国院校将多门研究生力学课程作为必修/限选课程，而美国院校则更注重学科交叉，更强调根据教师的研究领域让其研究生跨院系自由选修。建议我国院校根据自身国情、校情，在保证力学教育强度的同时增加课程设置的灵活度，促进小班化、个性化教学。

AbstractAsthedrillingandexploitationofoilandgasresourcesareattemptingtotargetdeepwater，deepunderground，unconventional，andnewenergytypes，themechanicscoursesettingrequiresforbeingdevelopedtowardsmoreinternationalandcreative.Theauthorsofthisarticleanalyzedbycomparingthecoursesettings，includingtypeofcourseandcoursecredit，ofagroupofChineseuniversitiesandagroupofAmericanuniversitiesthathavepetroleumengineeringprogram.Theanalysiswasconductedbymeansoffieldsurvey，graduateinterview，internationalexchangeandwebsourceexploration.Itwasfoundthattheuniversitiesorcollegesinbothcountriesplaceequalemphasisonundergraduateeducationonmechanics，whichmeansthemechanicscoursesareregardedbythemascoreonesinengineeringeducation.However，thesettingswithrespecttothegraduateleveldiffertosomedegree.TheChineseuniversitiesassignseveralgraduatemechanicscoursesasrequiredorconditionallyselectiveones，whereastheAmericancounterpartslaymorestressoninterdisciplinaryexchangeandallowforthegraduatestudentstofreelychoosecoursesprovidedbyotherschoolsasdirectedbytheiradvisors.Itissuggestedthattheuniversitiesorcollegesinourcountrymakemoreflexiblearrangementofthecoursesettingsandpromotesmallclassesaswellascustomizedteachingaccordingtothedomesticsituations，aslongastheabundanceofthemechanicseducationcanbesecured.
