2.基本结构

was/were+动词现在分词

Hewascookingatsixlastnight.他昨天晚上六点在做饭。(肯定句)

IwasntplayingfootballatthreeintheafternoonlastSunday.上周日下午三点我没有在踢足球。(否定句)

-Wasshedoingherhomeworkfromninetoelevenlastnight?她昨晚九点到十一点之间在做作业吗?(一般疑问句)

-Yes,shewas.,shewasnt.是的,她是(在写作业)。(肯定回答)/不，她不是(在写作业)。(否定回答)

3.常用的时间状语

①过去某一具体时间，如thismorning,thewholemorning,allday,yesterday,fromninetotenyesterdayevening,atthattime,justnow,momentago等。

WhatwasheresearchingalldaylastSunday?上周日他一整天都在研究什么?

②when/while引导的时间状语从句。

Itwasrainingwhentheyarrivedatthestation.当他们到车站的时候,天正在下雨。

Note:love,like,hate,agree,think,believe,want,mean等表示情感倾向、主观判断或意愿的动词一般不用于过去进行时。
