SHIPFINANCELEASECONTRACTANDRISKPREVENTION

ChapterOne:Introduction

Thiscontractismadebyandbetween[theLessor]and[theLessee],whoagreetothefollowingtermsandconditionsforthefinancingandleasingofaship.

ChapterTwo:TheLease

2.1LeaseItem:Thesubjectmatterofthisleaseistheshipnamed[ShipName],whichshallbeleasedtotheLesseebytheLessorforthetermandonthetermsandconditionsspecifiedinthisContract.

2.2LeaseTerm:ThetermofthisleaseshallcommenceonthedateofthisContractandshallcontinueforaperiodof[LeaseTermYears]years.

2.3Rent:TheLesseeshallpaytotheLessorasrentasumof[RentAmount]perannum,payableinadvanceonaquarterlybasis.

2.4UseandOperation:TheLesseeagreestousetheshipsolelyforthepurposeof[PurposeofUse],andtooperateitinasafeandpropermanner.

ChapterThree:RiskPrevention

3.1Insurance:TheLessorshallarrangeforcomprehensiveinsurancecoveragefortheship,includinghull,machinery,equipment,andthirdpartyliabilityinsurance,atitsowncost.TheLesseeshallprovideevidenceofsuchinsurancetotheLessoruponrequest.

3.2MaintenanceandRepair:TheLesseeshallberesponsibleforthemaintenanceandrepairoftheship,ensuringthatitremainsingoodconditionandissuitableforitsintendedpurpose.TheLessorshallprovideassistanceandsupportasnecessary.

3.3RiskManagement:TheLesseeshallimplementeffectiveriskmanagementmeasurestoreducethelikelihoodofaccidentsandensurethesafetyofshipoperations.Thisincludes,butisnotlimitedto,regularsafetyinspections,crewtraining,andequipmentmaintenance.

ChapterFour:Termination

4.1TerminationbyLessor:TheLessormayterminatethisContractatanytimebygivingwrittennoticetotheLessee.Insuchevent,theLessorshallrefundtotheLesseeanyprepaidrentthatremainsu
