TheGeneralIdeaofThisPeriod:

ThisperiodincludesWarmingup,ReadingandComprehendingofUnit5.Itintroduces

differentkindsofmusicandabandcalled“TheMonkees”.Studentswillenlargetheirknowledge

ofmusicbylisteningtothemusic.MeanwhilestudentscanlearnhowTheMonkeesgotsuccessful

bysomereadingstrategiessuchasskimming,scanning,andintensivereading.Studentsshould

thinkcarefullyabouttheoutlookonsocietyandonpersonalvalueafterreadingthestoryofThe

Monkees.Studentswillrealizetheimportanceofhardwork,rightattitudetowardswork,and
