peoplewhomightcomeandthedonationstheyhopedtoget.

“Wecantchangethedatenow/saidTom,aseniormember,hisvoicefilledwith

frustration.Wevealreadysentoutinvitations,andtheplaceisbooked.Emily

listenedquietlytothediscussion.Sheknewchangingthedatewasntpossible,butshe

alsorealizedcompetingwithanotherworthycausecouldhurtbothsides.

Afterthemeetingendedwithoutasolution,Emilydecidedtotakeaction.She
