Ⅰ.MeasurementPurposeTheprincipleofmeasuringleakagecurrentissimilartothemeasuringinsulationresistance,andthedetectabledefectsareroughlythesame.However,sincethemeasurementofleakagecurrentrequiresahighertestvoltagethaninsulationresistancetesting,themicroammetercanmonitortheleakagecurrentinthecircuitwithhighersensitivity.Therefore,itcandetectinsulationdefectsthatareonlyexposedunderhighervoltage.Theinsulationresistancevaluecalculatedfromtheleakagecurrentshouldbesimilartothevaluemeasuredbyamegohmmeter.Forexample,iftheleakagecurrentofatransformerincreasesfrom15Ato490A,a30-foldincrease,itwasfoundthatthecausewaswateringressduetoimperfectcasingsealing.

Ⅰ.MeasurementPurposeDCwithstandvoltagetestingcaneffectivelydetectoveralldefectssuchasinsulationmoistureanddirt,andcanalsoidentifylocaldefectsininsulationthroughtherelationshipcurvebetweenvoltageandleakagecurrent.DCwithstandvoltagetestingcauseslessdamagetoinsulation,requiressmallertestingequipmentcapacity,andisconvenienttocarry.

Ⅰ.MeasurementPurposeACwithstandvoltagetestingcaneffectivelydetectmoredangerousconcentrateddefects.Itisthemostdirectmethodfordeterminingtheinsulationstrengthofelectricalequipmentandhasadecisivesignificanceindeterminingwhetherelectricalequipmentcanbeputintooperation.Itisalsoanimportantmeanstoensureequipmentinsulationlevelandpreventinsulationaccidents.BothDCwithstandvoltagetestingandACwithstandvoltagetestingcaneffectivelydetectinsulationdefects,buttheyhavetheirowncharacteristics.Therefore,thesetwomethodscannotreplaceeachother.Ifnecessary,bothmethodsshouldbecarriedoutsimultaneousl
