GreetthestudentsandintroducetheunitthemeYouandMe.Askstudentstothinkabouthowtheygreettheirfriendsandfamilyindailylife.Writedownsomegreetingsontheboardanddiscusstheirmeanings.

Presentation(10minutes):

1.Introducethetargetlanguage:personalpronouns(I,you,he,she,it,we,they)andbasicgreetings(Hi/Hello,mynameis...,Whatsyourname?,Nicetomeetyou.).

2.Useflashcardstoshowpicturesofpeopleandaskstudentstopracticesayingthesentenceswithpersonalpronouns.

Practice(15minutes):
