samelearningability.Everydayatschool,studentswereexpectedtowearuniform(统

一的)clothes，haveuniformhairstylesandlearnatthesamepace.Growingup,thisis

whatIexpectedallschoolswerelike.FornineyearsIdidntknowthatpeopleof

differentreligions(宗教)andlearningpacesexistedintherealworld.Butthefactis

thattherearemoretypesofpeoplethanCatholicsandquicklearners.Forthisreason,I

decidedtotrysomethingnewbyattendingapublichighschool.

Myfreshmanyearofhighschoolwasanamazingeye-openerforme.Imet

differenttypesofpeople.Ihavemetpeoplewithlonghair,shorthair,blackhairand

purplehair.Ihavemetpeoplewhoaretwoyearsaheadofeveryoneelse,andothers

whoaretwoyearsbehind.Therearemusicians,bookwormsandotherswithinterests

outsidetheschool.Peoplecanbewhoevertheywanttobe.
