1.DisconnectthepoweroffeederBinthePDPbyremovingthetoitbelongingfuse.
2.DisconnectfeederB(point2ofthePowerConnectionBlock;abbreviatedinto:〞2PCB〞)fromtheEFA2sub-rackandfromthePDPanddisconnectthereturnbetweenthePDPand6PCB.
3.DisconnectthewirebetweenthealarminversionunitandthepowerinputpointofPTU2fromP21
4.Disconnectthewirebetweenpoint6ofthepowerinputblockandthepowerinputpointofPTU2fromP20
5.Connectatemporarypowerwire(minimum2mm2)betweenfeeder-48VofthePDPandpointP21
6.Connectatemporarypowerwire(minimum2mm2)betweenfeederB-returnofthePDPandpointP22
7.ReplacethefuseoffeederB.ThesystemispowerednowviafeederA(normal)andB(by-pass).
8.DisconnectthepoweroffeederAinthePDPbyremovingthetoitbelongingfuse.
Nowthesystemispoweredviatheby-passconnectionbetweenfeederBandPTU2.Thereshallbenopowervoltageleftatthepowerinputconnector.Thiscanbecheckedwiththehelpofmeasuringthevoltagesattheconnector.
9.Disconnectattheoutsideofthesub-rackalltheremainingwiresfromthepowerinputconnector.
10.Disconnectattheinsideofthesub-rackalltheremainingwiresfromthepowerinputconnector.;11.Replacethepowerinputconnection-block.
12.Reconnectthewiresofstep10totheinsideofthepowerinputconnection-block.
13.Reconnectthewiresofstep9totheoutsideofthepowerinputconnection-block.
14.Replacethefuseofstep8intofeederA.
ThesystemwillbepowerednowfromfeederAviathepowerinputblockandviafeederBviathebypasswiring.CheckthatthegreenLEDofPTU1lit.
15.Removethefuseofstep1fromfeederB.
ThesystemisnowpoweredviaPTU1andthenewPowerconnection-block.
16.Removethetemporarywiresfromstep5and6.
17.Reconnectthewiringofstep3
