Oneofthemostsignificantfindingsisthatwoollymammothshadstrong,flexibletendonsintheirlegs,whichenabledthemtomoveswiftlyacrossthefrozenterrain.Fossilevidencealsosuggeststhattheylivedinplexsocialgroups,similartomodernelephants,andhadhighlydevelopedsurvivalstrategiestoenduretheharshIceAgeconditions.
