Therearesomepeopleinsocietywhoeitherhavetoorwanttoworkallthetime.Mostpeople,however,seekwaystosocialize,torelaxortohavefunduringtheirleisurehours.Obviouslypeople’stastesvarydependingontheirincomeandtheirage.Butinrecentyears,thehomeentertainmentindustryhasgrownallovertheworld.Insteadofgoingouttoseeamovieortakingawalkinapark,peopleofallagesprefertoturnonthetelevisionandstayathome.Moreandmorefamilieshavetaperecorders,DVDs，MP3,MP4,CableTV,wifi,andcomputergamestoaddtothevarietyofleisureactivitiesinthehome.Insomecountries,youngpeoplespendhourssittinginfrontoftheircomputers,surfingontheInternetorplayingcomputergames.WiththecomingofthenewInternetservices,manypeopleareusingtheInternetchattinganddatingwitheachother.Manyofthemalsodoshoppingonline.

Despitetheriseinhomeentertainment,therearestillmanypeoplewhoenjoyspendingsomeoftheirleisuretimeattendingsportseventsorparticipatingincompetitivesportsorotherphysicalactivitiessuchasdancingandtaiji(shadowboxing).Exercisenotonlycontributestogoodhealthbutalsotakesthemindawayfromworriesandtroubles.
