0.1Laws.Thisspecificationshallneversupersedeapplicablelawsandregulations.Allmaterialsmust

meetlegalrequirementsvalidinthecountryofusage.

0.2Language.OnlytheEnglishlanguageversionofthistextshallbebinding.

0.3ProcessAccreditation.Allmaterialstestingmustbeconductedbyalaboratoryorfacilityaccredited

toISO17025byanestablishedthird-partyauditor.Equivalentaccreditationmaybeacceptablebut

requirestheapprovalofTeslaMaterialsEngineering.

0.4StandardObsolescence.Itistheresponsibilityofthesuppliertoensurethatthemostcurrent

versionsofallcitedstandardsareemployed.

0.5InitialSourceApproval.Deliveryofproductiongoodsshallnotbeaccepteduntilrepresentativeinitial

productionsampleshavebeenverifiedforcompliancetothisspecificationbyTeslaMaterials

Engineering.

0.6MaterialsEquivalency.Materialsorpartsapprovedandpurchasedtothisspecificationmustbe

equivalentineveryrespecttotheinitialsamplesverifiedandapprovedbyTeslaMaterialsEngineering.
