CourseDescription:

ThiscourseaimstofamiliarizestudentswiththebasicconceptspertainingtothepronunciationsofEnglish.Itgivesstudentsanin-depthlookintoEnglisharticulationanditssoundsystem,andthereforedevelopsstudents’sensitivitytoallaspectsofEnglishpronunciation.Inthiscourse,theoreticalconceptswillbemainlyemphasizedandpracticewillalsobeimplemented.Ingeneral,AmericanEnglishisthefocusthroughoutthiscourse.
