Sensematchesvolunteerswithdisabledpeoplewhohavesimilarintereststoensureyou’llhavelotsoffuntogether.Oncematchedwithabuddy，youwillgettoknoweachotherremotelythroughvideocalls，phonecalls，texting，emailsorletters.You’llarrangeweeklysessionsandplanfunthingstodotogether.Youcouldbegaming，doingartsandcrafts，playingmusic，planting—therearesomanypossibilities!Wewillprovideyouwithweeklythemedactivitiestohelptosupportyouinplanningyourinteractionswithyourbuddy.

WhatWeCanOfferYou

Beforeyoustartyourvolunteeringrole，we’llmakesurethatyou’vehadthetrainingyouneedtofeelconfident.Thiswillbedeliveredonlineandthroughvideocalls.Whileyou’revolunteeringwithusasavirtualbuddy，you’llalsogetawrittenaccountofyourvolunteeringandreferences(ifrequired)，reimbursement(报销)ofpre-agreedexpenses(upto￡25)，andgreatopportunitiestodevelopnewskillsandgettoknownewpeoplewhilemakingarealdifferencetoaperson’slife.

WhoWeAreLookingfor

Weneedvolunteerswhoaregoodatexpressingtheirideasandfeelingsandarepassionateaboutsupportingpeoplewithcomplexdisabilitiestocommunicateandexperiencetheworld.We’realsoalwayslookingforvolunteerswhohaveknowledgeorexperienceofBritishSignLanguage.Youdon’tneedtohavepreviousexperienceofvolunteeringornursingdisabledpeople.
