**************************Anorderisarequesttosupplyaspecifiedquantityofgoods.Itmayresultfromanofferoranenquirywithsubsequentquotations.?Lettersforplacingandacknowledgeordersshouldbebrief,accurate,andtothepoint.Whenplacinganorderbyletter,e-mail,orfax,thefollowingdetailsmustbementioned:Referencetopricequotations,discounts,pricelistsorcataloguenumber;Quantity,quality,models,patterns,colors;Modeofpacking,portofdestination,timeofshipment,shippingdocuments;Documentssuchasinvoice,pro-formainvoice,billoflading,insurance,packinglistandothercustomsdocumentsConfirmationoftermsofpaymentasagreeduponinpreliminarynegotiations.Anordershouldbeacknowledgedassoonasithasbeenreceived.“First”orders,thatisordersfromnewcustomers,shouldmostcertainlybeacknowledgedbyletter.Thelettershould:expresspleasureatreceivingtheorder;addafavorablecommentonthegoodsordered;includeanassuranceofpromptandcarefulattention;drawattentiontootherproductslikelytobeofinterest;hopeforfurtherorders.Whenabindingagreementcomesintoforce,bothpartiesarerequiredbylaw:Thebuyer’sobligation:toacceptthegoodssupplied,providedtheycomplywiththetermsoftheorder,topayforthemaccordingtothetermsagreedupon,tocheckthegoodsassoonaspossible(failuretogivepromptnoticeoffailuretothesellerwillbetakenasacceptanceofthegoods).Theseller’sobligation:todelivergoodsexactlyofthekindordered,andattheagreedtime,toguaranteethatthegoodstobesuppliedarefreefromfaultsIffaultygoodsaredelivered,thebuyercandemandeitherareductioninprice,orreplacementofthegoods,orcancellationoftheorder.Hemayalsobeabletoclaimdamages.?Whenanorderiscanceled,itmustalwaysbedo
