Abstract

Objective:Inthispaper,anautomaticallycontrolledventilatorexhaledwastegastreatmentdevice

isdesigned.Thetreatmentsystemcandischargethegasexhaledbythepatientintothehospital

centralattractionsystemwithoutaffectingthepatient’sinhalationandexhalation,andreducethe

infectionfromthesource.Methods:Thesystemcircuitandpneumaticcircuitdesignarecarried

outbyusingcomponentssuchasSTC12C5201ADmicroprocessor,exhalationbufferbox,pressure

sensor,vacuumpumpandemergencyexhalationvalve.Results:Thesystemcandischargetheex-

haledexhaustgasintothehospitalcentralattractionsystemwithoutaffectingthepatient’sme-

chanicalventilationtreatment.Conclusions:Theexhaledexhaustgastreatmentdeviceofventila-

torcaneffectivelypreventthepatientfromexhalingtheexhaustgastopollutethewardandre-

ducetheincidenceofpotentialcrossinfection[1].Thesystemhasthecharacteristicsofconve-

nientoperation,strongpracticabilityandhighsafety.
