EGF,EPR)inducestheformationofreceptorhomodimersandErbB2-containingheterodimers.ErbB3homodimersdonotsignal,sincethereceptorhas

impairedkinaseactivity,whereasErbB2seemstohavenodirectligand,butisthepreferreddimerizationpartnerfortheotherErbBreceptors.
