groups.Itisthefoundationforallgymnasticdisciplines,physicalmovementand

sportingactivities.ThefocusofGymnasticsforAllactivitiesisfun,fundamentals,and

friendship.Itcanbeshowcasedthroughdemonstration,performanceorcompetitive

teamevents.

ArtisticgymnasticsisusuallydividedintoMensandWomensGymnastics.In

theformalartisticgymnasticscompetitions,therearethreedistinctcategoriesof

competition:team,individualall-roundandindividualapparatus.Typicallymen

competeonsixeventsinthefollowingorder:floorexercise,pommelhorse,rings,

vault,parallelbars,andhorizontalbar.Womencompeteonfoureventsinthe

followingorder:vault,unevenbars,balancebeamandfloorexercise.

RhythmicGymnasticsisatypicallyfemalesport.Thebasicdifferencebetween

rhythmicgymnasticsandartisticgymnasticsisthatartisticeventsareperformedon

apparatuswhilerhythmicgymnasticsareperformedwithapparatus.Rhythmic

includesfiveapparatus:rope,hoop,ball,clubsandribbon.Itiscomprisedoftwo

categories:theIndividualCompetitionandtheGroupCompetition.
