recordsfromtheNationalPensionService,acomprehensiveadministrativedataset.Themajorfindings

areasfollows:

②First,industrieswithhighexposuretoAIexperiencedsignificantdeclinesinyouthemployment.Over

thepastthreeyears,youthjobsdecreasedby211,000,ofwhich208,000wereinindustrieshighlyexposed

toAI.Incontrast,jobsheldbythoseintheir50sincreasedby209,000,ofwhich146,000wereinindustries

highlyexposedtoAI.IntheearlyphaseofAIdiffusion,junioremploymentdecreasedwhilesenior

employmentincreased,exhibitingapatternof‘seniority-biasedtechnologicalchange’.▷Refertopage5.

③Second,inindustrieswhereAIislikelytoaugmenthumancapabilities(characterizedbyhigh

complementarity),youthemploymentdecreasedrelativelyless.Thisindicatesthatevenwithhigh

exposuretoAI,jobswithhighAIcomplementarityarelesslikelytobeautomated.▷Refertopage8.
