本书围绕网络经济这一新兴经济形态，系统构建了从基础理论到实践应用的完整分析框架。全书共八章，开篇通过导论界定网络经济的内涵与研究范畴，辨析其与信息经济、数字经济的关联，梳理学科发展脉络与研究方法；核心章节深入剖析网络外部性这一基石概念，延伸探讨转移成本、锁定、路径依赖、正反馈等网络经济特有特性；进而聚焦企业策略，详解兼容与标准竞争、安装基础构建、定价机制、限制进入等核心战略；后续章节拓展至市场结构与效率分析，解读寡头垄断特征与效率争议，介绍共享经济、大数据、长尾理论等新型商业模式，并针对网络经济下的标准政策、反垄断政策、普遍服务等公共政策展开探讨。全书贯穿理论与实践结合的思路，既修正和拓展传统经济学假设，又通过大量现实案例阐释网络经济的运行规律，为理解数字时代的经济现象、企业决策与公共政策制定提供全面指导。
