Abstract ! The topic of the 7th Conference of Traffic and transportation Forum 7 + 1 is sustainable development
of urban traffic in China. It mainly discu ssed some view s on sustainable development of urban traff ic, the evalu
ation index system of sustainable developm ent of China# s urban traff ic, reformation of the compressive transporta
tion management system, improvement of the intergraded urb anrural passenger traffic in large and m iddle cities of
China, as w ell as some countermeasures. Many helpful conclusions and proposals are presented in this conference.
