The introduction of computerized information system has sharply changed the management in many systems in many fields. The library management system takes an important role in the administration of school organization. After the thorough investigations about the library management system’s mechanism, a book management system was designed. This thesis describes the main things of school library management issues and the research background of related statistic work, conducts a comprehensive analysis about the feasibility for the system and demonstrates requirement analysis, system design, the realization of system and the system test in detail. The system is contrived with Java Server Pages technology as well as Struts, Spring and MVC design mode. The DBMS is Oracle. This system uses JDBC to connect the Oracle database server. The system consists of function modules as user login, book management, library card management, book borrowing management.
