Method The thesis analyzes the clinical symptoms by means of laboratory examination, bacterial examination, and iconography examination. Results The thesis concludes the clinical symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of this disease. Conclusion Because of the weak immune function of the old, they are more prone to being attacking by pneumonia with underlying disease. It’s different from young and middle patients, and the onset of elderly pneumonia is insidious; it’s easily misdiagnosed as other disease often without respiratory symptoms. This paper which summarizes the research on the diagnosis and treatment at home and abroad in recent years, would offer defi nite help.
