Abstrac:t B iodiversity is closely related to human w elfare. In recent years, hum an activities have caused m assive loss of b iod iversity. Lots of researches have showed that the species on Planet Earth have been reducing at an unprecedented speed. In order to prevent the loss of b iod iversity, many countries and international organizations had carried out lots of researches, enacted law s and regulations, mi plem ented plans and actions on b iodiversity and its related issues. DIVERSITAS is one of the four programmes of international global env ironm ental change ( GEC), and is the largest international scientific programme on b iod iversity.
