International Compare of Investment Banking
Regulation and Supervision and the
Enlightenment to China
Abstract
Investment banking is a high-risk industry. With the comprehensive opening
of money market, how to supervise and regulate investment bank effectively has
become to a hot topic. This article will give a strict definition of investment bank
and supervision and regulation, analyze investment banking origin and historical
evolution, and investment bank supervision and supervision pattern of America
England Germany respectively, also give a comprehensive comparison research
of these countries. Then this article elaborates our country’s investment bank and
its supervision and regulation present, pointes out the enlightenment to China, and
proposes some opinions and suggestions to improve the supervision and regulation
of our investment bank. Finally, this article attempts to develop a supervision and
regulation pattern, which suits to the future of China.
