Fluorine silicon chemicals, pesticides, dyestuff and surfactant have lead in many fields. Fine chemical industry has also far higher than the national average. But with the economic globalization and trade liberalization, the further development of chemical products market competition become more fiercely. Zhejiang province is facing a series of influences, such as RBM appreciation, oil shocks, resource shortage, technical barriers to trade dispute intensifies and so on. In this case, the comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the international competitiveness of Zhejiang chemical products, chemical industry of Zhejiang province and even the entire healthy development of the national economy, have important practical significance. First, this paper reviews the research progress about international competitiveness, and puts forward the researching concepts, technical routes. Stating the international competitiveness of the concepts, classification and theoretical sources. Analyzing the direct and deep factors of influencing product international competitiveness. And on the basis of researching achievements direct in the international competitiveness at home, constructing the international competitiveness evaluation system of Zhejiang province chemical products. Second, this paper conducts the qualitative and quantitative evaluation of international competitiveness of Zhejiang chemical products. Among them, the qualitative assessment mainly adopts national competitive advantage theory. And the quantitative evaluation analyzes the chemical products international competitiveness with three index overall, international market share, trade competitiveness index and dominant comparative advantage index in Zhejiang province.
