It leaves the womb of the traditional trade theory and the new trade theory and it is a new theory system ，which derives from the new trading reality. This article studies the relative employment effects of intra-product specialization under industrial inter-dependence ，by using the panel data of 23 Chinese manufacturing industries from the years 1997 to 2006. It shows that because of the industrial inter- dependence，the multiplier effect should be taken into account when inferring the impact of intra-product specialization. Based on the overall results of our mode，the authors point out some enlightenment to Chinese economic development at the end of this paper.
