As a result, we maintained a momentum of relatively rapid growth speed, higher quality and better profitability, and achieved a total premium income of 21.5 billion yuan, registering a 7.58% growth rate over the previous year. China Re Group will further fully implement the scientific concept of development in 2006 and take the following initiatives: strengthening independent innovation and taking the advantage of the second restructuring of the Group to promote improvement of the corporate governance structure; emphasizing the key business of reinsurance while diversifying to other fields with an aim to improving profitability; promoting agricultural reinsurance business and catastrophe insurance business to serve the society and the economy; implementing the macro education and macro training strategy to cultivate various talented people in great need; and advancing business development rapidly and soundly to build up a harmonious market, a harmonious industry and a harmonious society.
