To reduce expe se of memory a d time for JPDA, a ew improved JPDA algorithm w as i troduced for data associatio . Firstly , i this ew method, removi g the small probability eve ts by selecti g the right threshold values of the targeti g gate; seco dly , fade the probability de sity of associatio eve ts accordi g to the associatio probability of the targets i the targeti g gate, after that compute the associatio probability of the targets. T he theory a alysis a d computer simulatio show that this algorithm ca keep the rate of success of the target tracki g with low CPU computi g time a d easy come true i e gi eeri g applicatio .
