The resi st ance diver sit y of rice to B P H biot yp e Ⅱat different plant ages was chiefly at t ribut ed to t he cont ent variabilit y . And t he cont ent s in t he leaf sheat h were t he lowest a s comp ared wit h t ho se in ot her p art s. It might be one of t he rea son s why B P H has a p reference of feeding on leaf sheat h ag gregat ely f rom chemical point of view .
