关于未来互联网体系结构的网络虚拟化研究 1,2 1,2 1,2 余涛 ，毕军 ，吴建平 （1. 清华大学 信息网络科学与网络空间研究院，北京 100084； 2. 清华大学 信息科学与技术国家实验室，北京 100084） 摘 要：由于互联网基于端到端设计，并由许多目标与策略迥异的互联网服务提供商共同创建和维护，要想修改互联网结构必 须取得所有ISP 的一致同意，因此几乎不可能在互联网上部署全新的结构和协议。为了避免互联网结构的僵化，人们提出可以 使用网络虚拟化方法以增加未来互联网范式的多样性。通过在一个公共的基底网络上引入多种不同的网络结构，网络虚拟化可 以促进网络创新并推动更多种类的新应用出现。本文分别从互连网体系结构和测试床两个方面，对过去的和当前正在进行的互 联网虚拟化研究进行分析、归类和概述，并总结了其发展趋势和设计目标。 关键词：网络虚拟化；虚拟网络；未来互联网体系结构 Research on Network Virtualization about Future Internet Architecture 1,2 1,2 1,2 YU Tao ，BI Jun ，WU Jianping (1．Institute of Network Science and Cyberspace, Tsinghua University, Beijing 100084, China; 2 ．Tsinghua National Laboratory for Information Science and Technology （TNList ）, Beijing 100084, China) Abstract: Because Internet is designed based on end-to-end principle, constructed and maintained by lots of ISPs with different objects and policies, consensus must be reached for any architecture update. Till now modification on it is limited to incremental features or fixes, while deploying radical new architecture and protocols is almost impossible. To fend off its architecture ossification, network virtualization is proposed to add diversity in the future Internet. By introducing various architectures on a common substrate network, network virtualization can promote network innovation and encourage emergence of huge kinds of new applications. In this paper we explore various past and on-going researches on Internet virtualization from perspectives of both Internet architecture and test beds, summarize its development trend and design goals.
