T e mat ematic model of suc concept is establis ed and design illustrations are provided. T e researc result indicates t at common reliability design, taking required reliability as t e unique objective, as no practical meaning because it cannot consider ot er conditions constraints on design variables, w ic leads to t e unfeasibility of design result. Reliability and Optimization Design, taking fuzzy reliability as w ell as all ot er conditions as design constraints, circumscribes feasible design field in design space and t en explores t e optimal design sc eme in t is feasible field w it some met od according to design objectives, w ic can guarantee t e reliability, feasibility and optimality of design result. : ; ; ; Key words mac ine fuzzy reliability reliability and optimization design
