IntroductionAs everyone knows, English teaching in junior middle school has reformed. Education Reform mainly refers to three aspects: education resource distribution, education field reform and education beliefs change.1Education resource distribution is the most basic aspect of Education Reform., because it influences justice of education in China. In contrast with the past distribution, more and more people obtain chances to adapt their education. Meanwhile, more and more people have more education time and choices. Education field reform is one important part of Education Reform and refers to kinds of aspects of Education Reform, and the reform will last for a long time. At present, Education field reform is proceeding. Education beliefs change is a most controversial issue on whether Education Reform is successful.?“Quality Education” was put forward as one form of education beliefs change. With the reform of English teaching in junior middle school, the principles of English teaching in junior middle school are: the primacy of listening and the absolute priority of an oral method in the classroom.2 It requires that the teacher use more texts, graphics, images, animations and sounds to create a certain situation for students to practice English. However, we know that it is hard to reach this requirement with traditional teaching methods. Teaching English with multi-media is a good way to solve this problem. According to some researches about English teaching methodology with multi-media, the multi-media has provided an ideal learning environment for foreign language learning: offering rich authentic language materials, providing multiple representations, facilitating collaboration among students in real-life communication, etc. It can also improve the efficiency of English study.
