Design of the General Arrangement of Cylinder Block ’s
Three Dimension Boring Machine and the Structure of Fixture

Abstract :This paper focuses on the producing process of diesel engine cylinder block ，which can be produced
in large amounts． The processing of three dimension holes is the key procedure of the whole diesel engine cylin-
der block processing． Therefore ，we discussed the design of three dimension boring machine especially for the
cylinder block ，emphasizing on the overall structure of machine tools ，and location ，clamping and guiding de-
vice of work pieces． We believe that this research can provide useful references to the development of unit built
boring machine of the same kind．
