Literature Review (In this part, you are expected to review extensively both Western and Chinese books and papers related to your proposed research and analyze what has been achieved so far as well as the insufficiencies of the previous research.) Theoretical Framework (In this part, you are expected to describe the overall analytical framework that supports your whole research.) 3.1 Working Definition (State the definition you will adopt for clarification your focal research object in your thesis.) 3.2 Theoretical Basis (State what theories you will use as the foundation for your research project.) 3.3 Framework (State the structure of your analysis.) Pilot Study (optional) (In this part, you are supposed to describe what you have done in order to testify the feasibility of your research. This can be in the form of a questionnaire, a survey, or an experiment you have conducted.) Tentative Conclusion (In this part, you are supposed to state the conclusion that you assume you will reach at the end of your research.) 5.1 Major Findings (State what conclusion, results or statistics you suppose you will get at the end.) 5.2
