教具、学具准备:
单词卡片,一张世界地图,录音机,活动手册
教学过程:
Review
Greetings and sing song “the wheels on the bus”
Warm-up: listen and do (to review turn left, turn right, go straight and so on)
(用来激发学生和集中学生的注意力)
Lead in:T: there is a map. ( read “map”) Can you find BeiJing? Is it near ShangHai?
Ss: No.
T: Yes.It is far from ShangHai.( read it together)
Is it near TianJin?
Ss: Yes, it is!
Teacher and a student make up a dialogue with the model sentences:
Teacher: Excuse me! I’m lost!
Student: I can show you.
领读 I’m lost!
(板书对话的模式,对学生减轻了对话的难度,学生更易于参与进来)
Then, read books and answer:
Where is Danny? What’s Danny looking for? What is a map?
What does the man say?
Teacher demonstrate using hand and facial gestures, that she is confused to show “ I don’t understand. Please speak slowly.”
Write the sentences on the blackboard and read them a few times with the class.
Show a big picture of a map, try to make up dialogue that likes the dialogue on the book.
Group work: use the words and sentences to make up dialogue
